Focusing on "Innovative Cellulose Efficient Utilization, Promoting the Achievement of Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals", the Third National Cellulose Symposium of the Chinese Chemical Society was held in Guiyang, Guizhou, China. It was sponsored by the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS), and co-hosted by the Cellulose Committee of the CCS and Guizhou University.

Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts (JB&B), as the academic support unit of this conference, produced posters and leaflets for the scholars to pay attention to the development of the journal. During the conference, the editors of JB&B had face-to-face communication with the invited experts to keep in touch with the cutting-edge information of the discipline and at the same time invited manuscripts.

Prof. Yongcan Jin, associate editors of JB&B, gave an invited lecture on "Construction and application of cellulose nano/sub-nanomaterials". Prof. Yongcan Jin introduced the current development and future potential of JB&B in detail, and recommended colleagues to pay attention to and actively contribute to the JB&B.

Many other editorial board members and guest editors of JB&B made wonderful academic reports in the sessions of Structure and Application of Cellulose-Based Materials, Basic Theory and Function of Nanocellulose, Efficient and Green Conversion of Cellulose, Cellulosic Chemicals, Cellulosic Renewable Materials, etc. During the conference, they had in-depth exchanges with the editors and expressed that they would continue to support the development of JB&B and actively cooperate with the inviting manuscript activities.
